Like any self-respecting music blog, here is my personal ranking of the 11 best albums of 2010, because its 11? because I tried and tried to pull out qualuno but nothing, I could not, were all important.
This post, in addition to being a great classic for music blogs, is also a small ' complaint' made by a few loyal listeners of the blog (mitici!) which I have pointed out the lack of recent albums.
Needless to say, the assessment is subjective and is based only on the albums I've heard, of course, not all. Here are the rankings:
11) Caribou: Swim (electronic)
Summer at sea, dive into the water, before that feeling back, muffled voices, sounds, models, low ' liquids', want to swim. Hard disk, it should be heard and heard again, the soundtrack of a summer.
10) The Tallest Man On Earth : Wild Hunt (folk)

8) Jonsi : Go (indie rock, post rock, pop)
Jonsi emerges a sparkling and spring during Throughout the first part of the disc while in the second, you are dreamy and dreamlike space, in full Sigur Ros style. Disc

The previous record, 'Boxer' we liked, and how. Here the atmosphere is more relaxed in some ways, melancholy is the master and there is space for contemplation, for the emotions.
orchestral accompaniment, progressions solemn, velvety voice and a sense that, for any misstep, we can move from love to experience the depths of despair.
6) Foals: Total life forever ( indie rock, math rock)
I take the Foals Talking Heads, mix them with the Rapture and depict all using a mathematical equation.
Ok, maybe this was before, now are also able to move and to look inside, doing always take the time with his feet. Excellent development definitely toward a more mature sound.
5) Menomena: Mines (indie rock, pop, alt-rock) pop

you hear a record so young cool since the debut of the Artic Monkey, you can not stand still, you move like that, without realizing it. The quality of every single song is high, the sounds are manicured, young, modern, songs, perfect for parties. Incredible how much individuals could get out of this CD (almost all).

2 tie ) The Black Keys: Brothers (garage rock, soul, R & B) I love this
hard, I love him deeply. It made me sing out loud in the car at night, moving to music, enjoy and dream. Simple but hard impact, long but that is not boring. He does not deserve the top because I would not be objective, the disc is simple and follows patterns rather trivial; the fact remains that an album is rich and that does not fall in the discount.
