Don McLean: American Pie

Donald" Don "McLean is a American singer-songwriter famous his song AMERICAN PIE written as a reflection on the death of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper (singer, songwriter and guitarist) died February 3, 1959 in a plane crash. McLean said the lyrics of this song was somehow un'autografia life of the mid-50 until the time he wrote the song in the late 60's.

In Italy in 1973 McLean was a brief period of notoriety VINCENT thanks to track based on the life of Vincent Van Gogh which was used as the theme of a very successful yellow television at that time.

American Pie The album is a classic album of pop music enjoyable and rewarding, composed of graceful melody that caresses the mind almost like a caress of a mother.
